Talking about beauty and grace under pressure. That was what Janina went through. She stepped down as the official representative for Ms. World 2008 beauty pageant to be held this December. I never really have watched the beauty pageant but I can relate to what she had went through. My sister used to join beauty contests too. I watched many of them and I could see what beauty contestants could go through.
Hey, we are all Filipinos… so what if we are not that good in speaking in English? It can be learned and practiced and there will come a time that we could be fluent. I pity the poor young lady. She is only seventeen and we should not judge her for that single incident of not being able to answer one question in straight English. It is all over YouTube…She is already judged. I am not surprised that she stepped down. I hope that she is fine and doing well.
