Poker table

November 12th, 2008

I worked for a construction company before. I was the executive assistant of the owner and sometimes, when there were big projects, we had to stay at the site. There, I saw the workers, playing card after work. Maybe it was their way to unwind from the very hard labor of painting, plumbing and carpentry jobs. I told my boss that maybe he should provide Poker Tables to his men so that they could play well. He said that he would think about it. One day, I saw that there were man made tables already from the excess materials. Wow! Pretty artistic and innovative of the laborers!

My employer has many sons and one time he asked me to canvass for real poker tables. He said that it was a good idea for him and his sons to bond. My boss was good in Poker. He actually taught me this card game. Oh, well… I did not know if he just let me win or I really did beat him on that. Well, he was clever though. Until now, he had not changed those poker chips to real cash.

Going back to the Poker tables, I found American Gaming Supply and I think my previous boss already communicated with them. He has a son who was based in US so maybe he just asked him to purchase one or two for him.
