I came home late again. Well, I attended the Thanksgiving Dinner treat of our Boss in the special project we had for the past two months. Who am I to miss that? I love free food! No wonder I am this big.:)
Anyways, I decided to take the shuttle that would bring me straight from Makati to Marikina. We finished eating at around 845PM so I could really catch that shuttle ride. I also had the option to ride the Metro train but I opted to wait for the Hi-Ace Van. I told my office mate that I think it would be worth the wait. As the dispatcher sounded, we would be riding a new van. But wait, he said that it would arrive after thirty minutes. It turned out that we had to wait for an hour before it finally became visible in our sight. Yes, it was a brand new van? Being the first two persons in line, we had the privilege to choose a better seat. So, we did. Ahhhh, the cool air-conditioning system. I wanted to sleep but I have to keep company.
So, after the air-conditioned brand new van, I had to alight and look for my next ride. It took me around ten to fifteen minutes before I saw the Montalban jeep that would bring me to the tricycle station in San Mateo, where I lived. Good thing about this ride? It was fast. Montalban jeeps here are known for that reputation. They would make a hour drive into a thirty minute one or even less. That is why, they encountered many road accidents also. Sometimes, they are not careful enough. Another thing I do not like about the drivers of Montalban jeeps, they charge higher than the usual fare. But you know, people are tired to complain and just wanted to go home the earliest time possible since it is already late at night.
Anyways, I came to my last stop. I had to ride the tricycle going to my home. My husband could not fetch me anymore because our son was already sleeping. We do not have any maid to look after him. I always pray whenever I am already at the tricycle ride. There are so many things running on my mind thus, I really have to pray for my safety.
Gladly, I arrived home safe. Thank God. Now, I am writing this. Oh, it has been a tiring day? Not really…
