A Commuter's Life

It is a day to be thankful for! It is my birthday! Who says that there is no reason to celebrate anymore now that I am getting older? I never experienced blowing a candle on my birthday cake ever after all! Come to think of it, I thought it was only my friend who had that experience until she got married and had many birthday cakes with candles to blow from then on. Hmmmnnnn… Yes, I could not recall any past birthday of mine that I had some cake or anyone gave a cake to me or any group sang me a Happy Birthday. It only means one thing… I do not or did not invited anyone to a birthday party of mine neither. Ha,ha,ha!

Last year, I just stayed home or did we have dinner outside? I could not remember anymore. There was one incident though that is still very clear to my mind. Well, it is not that good so I would not write it anymore.

So, what am I going to do today? What was the first thing I did the moment I woke up? Oh, I forgot to pray! Really now! I really feel blessed and thankful to God for another year. He had protected me and He always answers my prayers. Thank You, Lord for all the blessings.

I changed my theme! That was the first thing I did! My friend said that she does not like the previous one.

Who greeted me first? My husband of course! Not to count those who greeted me in advance, huh! Then, my mother who is here in our house for a vacation also greeted me.

So, what do I plan to do today? I guess… I would just sleep first since I have been awake since 2AM. After that, I plan to buy a cake. Yes! This time, I would blow my first birthday candle !
