She works hard for the money

31 May

She works hard for the money. This is one of the songs that brought Kris Allen, the new American Idol to the top. However, I could not find a video that could be embedded here. So, I went for the original. The one by Donna Summer.

This is my tribute also to all working women like me!

Why start tomorrow?

30 May

I am awake at this early again! Before, I had to wake up early because I have to blog, write some posts and do some blog hops. But now, I have to wake up early because I have to leave the house by 630AM! Yes, I am an ordinary office employee who works 8-5! My schedule would be like that until next week. I do not know if it is a plot. They know that I am up to prove myself? Some things in the office really sucks right now that I am challenged to prove to all that I am the best! Ha,ha,ha,ha! Sounds heavy? Nah, it is just my imagination.

Seriously, it is all about me. I am always late for the past two years until this month. I would like to be prompt in all aspects beginning June. I do not know if the scheduler heard about it and is up to challenge me by giving me the earliest shift. You know, our house is quite far from the office. Moreover, I have to commute. If only I could use the motorcycle to go to the office. But, I am afraid! The other big vehicles like cars, jeeps, buses, vans and others might just hit me and throw me away! That could be the end of ME! And one thing more, I do not have a driver’s license :) He,he,he.

Okay, too much of my morning rant. I have to go and prepare. I have to be at the office before 8AM. Why start tomorrow, huh? I could start now! Go,go,go!

Excited for the classes to start

29 May

Though it would mean more traffic when the classes open, I am excited! Well, my son would be in PREP already! I hope that he would learn to read and write by that time. However, I would miss those times when he would always ask us to write on his drawing board every word that he thought of. Ha,ha,ha! Well, he thinks of words to enter at the search engine of a popular game site!

I hope I could take part in my son’s schooling this time. We never really had a study time because I was too busy. I am still busy because I go to work five days a week and when I got home, I still have to do home works of my own.

Carbonite: ultimate back up

29 May

I could still remember that time when I opened my PC and found out that all my files were missing! I really got mad. I asked my husband what happened. He said that he had to reboot the PC. I asked him if he did a back up and he said that he was not able to do so. He thought that I already saved my important documents at the D drive. We argued the whole day because I had to remember everything and write or upload all those important things again. Talking about mind back up, huh! What about those things that I already forgot? I was really disappointed and frustrated. I told him, I was not a Carbonite. He laughed at me and asked me what I was talking about. He even corrected me and said that maybe I was pertaining to Kryptonite and not Carbonite. That is my husband. He always find humor in any situation.

Seriously, I really hoped that I had a Carbonite, the ultimate back up. Why? It is an online back up! Imagine, you do not have to save it in any of your hardware drives. Moreover, you could be sure that if your PC would shut down and unexpectedly be reformatted without your knowledge, all your files are still intact! I think that everybody who is in the online business should have a carbonite.

He drew a flower

26 May

We plan to go to the mall today but something came up. That saddens me and brought out all my frustrations. I am quite pressured in life right now and I could not take it anymore! Oh, I am not to commit anything bad, huh! I just have to cry this out. I blurted out my feelings and told my husband about it. I do not know, he seemed could not understand. That is what I have observed lately. We do not have the same wavelength anymore.

I realized that my son is here. He was able to hear our fight. What he did? He drew a flower on his drawing board and showed it to me. My heart melted. thank you, son!

Now, I feel okay. We are to go to the mall already. We have not patched things up but we have to move on for our son.

What to do at the mall? We are going to buy my son’s school uniforms and school supplies.

‘Til next time!

Say no to credit, say yes to debt consolidation

25 May

Many people are trapped in credit card debt. I know some friends who are haunted by collection agencies. They are even harassed to the point of cursing them and saying things that you could not swallow. It is not that you would not like to settle your obligations but maybe due to uncontrollable circumstances, you just could not settle on time or not at all. because of this, interests add up from month to month until one day you would wake up drowned with debts already.

Good news! You might want to resort to debt consolidation. When you apply for debt consolidation loans, interests would be lowered. Moreover, you could choose the program that you could afford. The debt consolidation officer or company would be your representative in negotiating for your loans. They could take out your loan and you would just pay your loan to them.

Worry no more! Just be careful in choosing the best offers. As they say, you could not correct a certain mistake with another mistake.Study your options or if you have friends who understand the process, then maybe you could consult them also. it would be a never ending process of paying your debts. Sometimes, you would think that it could take a lifetime. With debt consolidation, there could be an answer.

Seven posts and three batches

23 May

In two hours I was able to finish seven posts and three batches of clothes! Yes, multitasking is the word! I am so happy that I was able to do all of that in such a short time. Thanks to the washing machine and of course to the quietness of the morning that I could concentrate on what I am doing. But now, they are all awake! I have to go to the office also in about thirty minutes. I hope to get some commuter stories this time. Still sleepy? Yes, but I am in a really great mood today! I hope that no one would break it!

Know what mesothelioma is

23 May

I wonder if there are Mesothelioma lawyers here in our country. Most of the people who works for construction are not covered with anything. Much more, to consult with a lawyer when something goes wrong. That part of the labor system really needs improvement. People may not also be aware of what mesothelioma is. I think it is time that people be educated with this kind of disease. Anybody could be exposed to asbestos. No one would know that it is the cause if he does not have the slightest idea about it.

What keeps you awake?

23 May

Funny! I am missing my own commuter’s posts! It is not that I am not commuting anymore, huh! Maybe because I spend most of my time sleeping while commuting these past few days. Yeah, I always sleep late thus, I need all those extra naps that I could take whether commuting or during my break times.

What makes me sleep late? What else? What keeps you awake too! :)

Baby things

23 May

My husband’s niece recently gave birth to a bouncing baby girl! This weekend, we are planning to buy her a gift. We are thinking if we are to give her a Bob stroller or a diaper bag. Baby clothes are in the options too. As I thin about baby things, I feel like I would like to have another baby of my too! My son is already big at five and yes, I miss carrying him in my arms. This early, he does not want to be cuddled anymore. Having a baby inside my womb also is a great unexplainable feeling. It gives me a sense of not being lonely. Simply because I am carrying another life inside me. Now, I have to go and talk to my husband about it.;)
