All awake with some thoughts

30 Jun

I thought of so many things on my way home today. Well, the one hour jeepney ride is really a lot of time.

I am excited for my goddaughter’s birthday next week. I thought of making her a short story on how she was conceived or her life inside the womb as I was able to witness it. Her Mom is a very close friend of mine. I could say that she is the closest to me in the office. Anyways, that was just a thought. Maybe, I would be able to do that for her in the future. This special girl loves books according to my friend, so why not create a book for her, right?

Anyways, I thought of what would I do tomorrow also. It would be my rest day! Surely, I would do my blogging stuffs.

I am also thankful today that I finally completed the month with no absent and lates! Wohooo!!!! I hope to do that again this July.

That’s it for today.

Mom and Child Talk: I want to make a robot with brain

30 Jun

My son was able to watch in the news about the human android. It is a robot that has the ability to give human expressions.

A while ago, my son said that he wants to make an android. A robot whom he could talk to. I told him that he could not talk to the robot the way he talks to us. He asked, why? I told him because the robot does not have a brain to understand him. He said, let us buy a brain that we could put in the robot. I told him that it would not be possible. He asked why? I told him that a brain is a gift from God. I told him that living things have brain…except from plants, huh! You know what my son said next? He said that since we eat animals like chicken, cow and pig, why don’t we get their brains and put it in the robot that he wants? He said that he needs the robot for his companion.

Oh, dear child of mine. I think what you need is a brother or a sister.

Affordable engagement ring

30 Jun

ringJune month is about to over. Welcome to July! I wonder if the brides this June got the ring they wanted! I was a bride once and before I got married, I waited for my husband now to give me an engagement ring. It does not have to be expensive or real. As long as it looks good and fashionable, it is okay with me. I love this designer jewelry site I found. Imagine, you could get a very nice ring for as low as 50$! It would be our tenth wedding anniversary this August 8. I think I would just ask my husband to buy me one ring there. Well, knowing that I love jewelries, it would be appreciated also if he buys me paired earrings and bracelet. It would not cause him much, anyways!

No Monday rush

29 Jun

No Monday rush for me today. Well, it is not my rest day but I am back to the afternoon schedule. I would like to be early in the office though. I have some things to fix and to talk to my supervisor. I have to get this thing out of my chest and be in peace.

The road has never been so good. The past weeks when I had the morning shifts, it was hard for me. Today, I know that there would be more jeepneys waiting for me. No traffic also.

I am really working on how my commuting time would be more productive like listening to some notes perhaps thru the MP3 player. One hour is more than enough time to memorize five to ten items, I guess. I remember my friend who was reading the newspaper during one of our trips. She asked me to memorize the countries listed in the Forex page. Well, we were inside the airplane that time. Somehow, it was like just staying inside the house meaning no bumps or no movement unlike when you are in a land transportation. So, I guess, I might just use my MP3 player. Actually, I do not know if it is still working. I might use the MD player instead or maybe buy a new MP3 player.

No Monday rush, huh! But, there are lots of things going on my mind right now.

Happy Monday to all and have a great week ahead all of you!

I would love to drive that car

27 Jun

How did you celebrate Father’s day? I am sure that all men with children were happy that day! Some men were even happier especially those who received Ferrari parts as gifts. Last week we celebrated Father’s day at the mall and the establishment featured great cars like Ferrari. You could see the eyes of both men and women hoping that they would be going home with one of those! Yes, that included me, huh! I would love to drive a red Ferrari!

Signal No. 1, no classes for Pre-schoolers

24 Jun

My son was absent from school last Monday because of terrible colds.  I do not want other kids catch the virus. Come Tuesday, he looked fine thus we sent him to school. My son loves to go to school because he is bored inside our little house. He loves to play with other kids and learn new things from his teacher.

Last night, it was announced that there is Feria, the new typhoon! It is already signal number one here in Manila and the rest of the region. We told our son that he would not be able to go to school today. He was sad.

Anyways, at least he would have more rest. He still has his colds and now, he has cough.

I pray that he gets well, soon!

Popular Pool

24 Jun

Pool is one of the most popular sports here in our country and perhaps all over the world. We are proud to have the share of champions. Recently, pool tournaments are being held here.

Pool is being played by both men and women now though it is more of a man’s game, I guess. Because of the popularity of the sports, many billiard halls appear like mushrooms all over the country. There is one in every city if not in every barangay. It is a fun sports and develop sense of decision making. Most of all, it is better to hang out and play pool than do other things. Just make sure that your kids do it after classes or maybe during weekends.

If you are to asked any player what makes them win a game, I am sure that they would say that it is in the Pool Cue. Yes, it is actually one of the most important sports equipment in billiards together with the billiard table and the cue balls.

My son is showing love of the game this early. I am now preparing for that day that he would ask me for a real Pool Cue and its own case.

Public Display of Affection

15 Jun

Guess who were my co-passengers this time? A couple who looked like newly weds because of their public display of attention. It was early morning of Sunday, around 630AM. They looked like they just came out of the bathroom because their hairs were dripping wet. The husband was caressing his wife with sleepy eyes. Was it a cold morning? Anyways, after a few minutes, both of them fell into asleep in locked embrace! Oh, was I just thinking that I hoped my husband was also with me?

The animal in me

11 Jun

There is always an animal in us. It had been discussed in so many personality seminars and emotional quotient sessions. You could be an owl, a lion, or whatever depending on what the book says. In the office, there was also an e-mail, a funny one regarding this.

Anyways, do you believe that we came from monkeys? Some science says that.

I just took this blogthing and this time, I really like the result.

You Were a Whale

You see the unseen and connect on the deepest level.

You help others find their soul’s song.

Wow! That is something , huh! I love reading others and predicting the future. Sometimes I am correct, sometimes I am not.

Anyways, if I were a whale in the past, maybe that is the reason why I am big? Ha,ha,ha,ha!

But, I am afraid of the water. I love to swim but the thought of being left alone in the ocean kills me. Maybe that is the reason why I am a human at present. :)
