Getting the feel of social networks

August 23rd, 2009

Okay. Did I waste almost two and a half hours browsing thru social networks? Well, I am a member of Friendster and got some friends there. I tried Facebook a while ago. Actually, after reading a post from Sasha-says, I was just curious of what Facebook could offer. I have been a member of facebook a long time ago but I just tried it to be “in”. Ha,ha,ha,ha! Well, we all have to be updated.

So, I was able to upload more pictures in my Facebook account. I was able to find more friends too like friends way back during Elementary days and relatives abroad. Then, I realized, I am not a friendly person after all. Well, I got only few friends in my list comparing it to others who have more than 50 or even a hundred. The thing is, I could not add a friend who is not really my friend or who I think might really view my profile. You know, having friends in the real sense of the word. But, I am very open to have new friends. Yes, I would like to have many friends. I think that I am in a very limited space in this part of the globe. I would like to widen my horizons and meet many people and learn things.

Anyways, I did not see much difference with Friendster and Facebook.
