I missed writing. I was looking at my other blogs and I saw that I have written that much. Sometimes, I could not even remember that I was the one who actually wrote a certain article or two. Well, I might be really that inspired during that time.
Anyways, these past few days, all I want to do is sleep, watch TV and eat. It has been so long since my eyes were glued to a certain TV show. Well, I have been watching the non-stop TV coverage of the late president’s memorial service. Lat night, I was able to watch the late telecast of the necrological service.
There were so many people who spoke but I was not able to hear everything that they said because of the crappy nightmare signal from Dream. It really pissed me off. The company is trying to migrate to a new satellite to eradicate the illegal “subscribers”. Anyways, let me just tell you that in another story.
Going back to the Eulogy, I might get what Teddy Boy Locsin wrote. I think, a good title for what he wrote is “I did not notice”. Maybe that was really the title. Well, he mentioned that phrase many times. He said that because of Cory Aquino’s goodness and pure heart, he was able to forget the hatred that he had been keeping in his heart for so long, and he did not notice.
Another heartbreaking testimony was from one the presidential guards. He remembered that time when Cory served them with cup noodles. There were no other household help during that time because they came from the painting class where Cory provided for the food of her classmates thus all the household helps were also there. It happened that they were the ones who arrived home first. Cory was sensitive enough to know that her guards might have not eaten yet because they have to guard her first and foremost whatever she she had to do. It was really touching, huh. Little acts of kindness really reach a person’s heart and would be remembered forever.
I still have lots of stories, buy I have to go. I still have to find that yellow shirt.
