Before we leave the house, I made sure that all the textbooks of my son are inside his bag. Those were scattered at different places in the house. I am glad that those were safe because that would mean I do not have to buy new ones. That would mean savings! At this time of crisis, we need all the savings that we could get.

Tomorrow will be the day. Well, maybe we have regained the enrgy we need already thus we have to face the real thing. We are victims of the recent Ondoy typhoon that hit most of Rizal and other parts f Luzon. I live in San Mateo Rizal. The flood was neck high of a 5 ft 4 person. Maybe if we have a second floor then we could have managed it somehow. All our appliances are broken. Clothes are wet. Yes, we have nothing to wear. Thank you to some friends who gave us clothes. There was no electric supply the first two days. No water too. I decided that I will seek assistance from my previous employer. He has a big house in a very high place. We are here right now. There is electricity, water and food. He gave us shirts also.
Tomorrow,we will go back to our supposed home. We have to start cleaning up the mess. I hope that there will be enough water from the faucet so that we could finish the cleaning within the day.

My friends in Canada went to US for a vacation. It is not their first time to go there but it is their first time to visit Disneyland! Imagine, they have been in Canada for almost a decade and yet, they have not explored the neighboring country. I asked my friend if she had purchased Disney Tickets ahead. It is advisable to avoid wasting time lining up. That is what I do not like when I go to parks. Well, she said that they are very much ready. Thanks to Orlando Tickets where they were able to reserve tickets online. Now, all they have to do is to have a good time!

Today is the birthday of one of my College friends.
I am glad that she invited us to come over her place for dinner and lots of “kwento” !
I just arrived home and I would really cherish this night.
I am not really a friendly person.
I only have few friends.
I was down yesterday and actually, I still feel down today but God has His ways to cheer me up.
I guess, I really have to be happy.
One of my office mates told me that happiness should come from within and we should not look for it from others.
She was right…
I feel better now.
Thank You Lord for giving me true friends.

Could this quote also means forgive and forget? I really learned about this for the past years. Before, my heart is really like a stone. I could not move on. I could not forgive. However, it has a negative effect on me. I realized that I am the only one who is suffering because of this. Thus, I learned my lesson. Forgive and forget.

We went to the park where there is a paintball game. At first, we were just watching. The players seemed having fun. Their clean paintball jerseys slowly got muddy with paint colors. Well, their faces were painted too. I just do not know if those were from the enemies or it was part of the get up. After the game, they sat tired and eventually, left their paintball gadgets at the ground. They did not havePaintball Gear Bags. I think they should buy one. Well, they should clean their goggles and guns then safely put in the bag. That is if they value their things. Anyways, another thing that they should do is take a shower and clean their faces. They were not recognizable at all!

Oh, no! I have to get rid of blackheads scattered all over my face! My husband has been reminding me to clean my face every night before I go to sleep but I always forget especially if I am so very tired from a day’s work! But now, I realized that he is right. I hope it is not too late to remedy this spotted face!
New notebook for me

I am stuck here in the office. No jeeps. The roads are blocked by the floods. Thank you to internet. It keeps me sane. I am now looking for new netbooks. My husband said that all of our things were not saved. It means that I really have to buy new ones. Oh, that weather yesterday was really crazy. Anyways, the sun is up today! I thank God for that!

In our last team building activity, we were given room assignments. We were mixed with those persons that were not close to us. The facilitators might just be thinking that way but for all they know, we were at one point familiar with each other. Funny, the room I was assigned to was called the heavy weights room! Yes, the four of us there were on the heavy side. I guess, we should all start taking the diet pill that works. That was one of the topics that we were able to discuss before we went to sleep. See, we have something in common!
Nothing beats the original

I really do not have a good pair of shoes. I promised myself that next payday, I will buy myself a Dansko. There are lots of designs to choose from. Some are imitated already by other brands but I guess, they could not be at par with the original. Nothing beats the original, as they say!
I have bought so many pairs that are easily torn. The floods already washed those shoes away!
