My previous boss who happened to be a family friend and is the godfather of one of the daughters of my sister advised my sister to make a disability appeal. My dear sister had an accident last year. She was hospitalized for about a month and stayed home for another five months. I wonder how painful it was for her to stay home. She has been working all her life. She never liked being locked up but she had no choice. Her employer was generous enough to still give her monthly salary the whole time that she was home. However, it was not enough. well, it is really different when you can move around. It is not really the money but the emotional trauma and that fear of starting anew.
