A Commuter's Life

I received an e-mail last week from one of my friends. He forwarded a quotation from a car dealer. It has an attractive package complete with a mechanical breakdown insurance and insurance even because of natural calamities like flash flood! It is a very controversial item right now here in our country because there are many cars that are still at the repair shops right now and the owners have to spend for it because the damage is not covered. I guess, it is really necessary to get an extended insurance program. We never know what will come to us. It is better be ready at all times.

I received a text message from my mother this morning. She was asking me to give her a call. So, I did. She said that she is sick and she needs my help. I could tell that she has coughs and colds. She really sounded sick. I am worried about her. If only I could really do much but of course, I could only help according to my financial capacity. These are the times when I really realize the value of a health insurance. Nobody would like to get sick but to prepare for it is better than not being able to get treatment when the need arises because you do not have the money. I really advise that everybody should get an insurance. I am sure that you could find a cheap health insurance that is affordable enough yet very beneficial.

Another story is about our neighbor. He works as a manager yet his health insurance only covers him and his wife. He forgot to enroll his four kids. Now, they have to spend much for the operation of their youngest son. Better late than never. He would now apply for insurance of her kids. The amortization is affordable compared to the amount that he is going to pay for the operation today. It could actually cover three years of amortization.
