I have just watched a film in which the main character of the story makes chairs and tables. He started from scratch then became successful. Before, all his work was at his home. The setting was at his house with all the equipments and wood scattered at his living room, front yard and backyard. His specialty is rustic furniture. That was a pretty inspiring story. I hope to have my own business someday too.

My husband is in his carpenter mood today. He wants to build a serving table complete with industrial bearings. Oh, my hubby is really like that. He feels bored when he is doing nothing. One day, if ever we have enough capital already, we will definitely build a furniture business. Something made to order though and not really of mass production. I think that will be more sort of a hobby and at the same time will earn us a little. Something we can do during our retirement age and our son can also inherit.

Have you attended conferences where you were given CDs for the reference materials? How about seeing exercise CDs packaged with Health products? Kids’ video CDs in milk cans? Indeed, cd duplication is a good business. One of my friends is encouraging me to have this as a venture. Why not? It has a very good market. Even books are now in CDs. I just need to conceptualize on it. Make a feasibility study first, I guess.

The weekend is almost over! Time stamp is 1018PM. Ho-hum! I am already sleepy. Tomorrow is a busy day. I am on vacation leave but I have a lot of things to do. You know, Mommy’s obligations of going to the groceries and all. I just finishes washing tons of clothes and I do not have the energy to iron those anymore. Yes, I work like a maid during weekends. Am I complaining? YES! I just thought and realized that I need some relaxation and beautification of myself. A hair color, maybe? White hairs are very visible already even in pictures. Now, I could not deny that I am nearing 40 already. I am old! Anyways, I told my son to accompany me tomorrow. After my errands, I will make it a point to visit a beauty parlor. Well, I used to do everything from manicure, pedicure, haircut and hair color but I am too tired to do all of that. I will pay this time. If my son finds out how much the parlor is earning, I am sure that he will ask me to have our own beauty parlor. Yes, that is my son. Oh, I have a brother who would like to go to Chattanooga beauty school. Yes, he wants to have his own SPA someday. Right now, he is practicing his skills with our Mom.

I just had a big dinner of green leaves, tomatoes, eggs, potatoes, carrots and tuna! Thank you, husband for preparing it. Until now, I am trying to finish off some of the carrot pieces. Yummy!

Anyways, that was a good reward. Then there is my son. He has a star! He showed me his assignment. Their English teacher asked them to bring a picture of their mother and describe it in four or five sentences. Do you want to know what my son wrote about me? She has lots of money! What does my son thinks of me? How much more if he sees some bullion inside my cabinet? ( I wish!). That only reminded me to work harder. Yes, having an investment like gold is a must for me now.

Adrenaline rush to buy gold? Do not be so fast now. think again or you might wake up one morning that what you get was not the real one. I have learned my lessons about these things. Many people would like to take advantage of your enthusiasm to buy something or to get into something. I experienced that already and it just turned out that I wasted a lot of money. I could do nothing now but regret about it. I just told myself the I should have like that and all but it was too late. So, if you are serious about buying gold, trust only one name and that is United States Gold Bureau.

I just learned today that my son does not belong to the honor class. That is what you get when you are a transferee. Maybe he is just an average student but I believe that it is not what matters. Everything will change when he will be on his own already. I was a top student before and look where am I right now. I am not a top executive nor a successful businesswoman. I am just an average member of the society. My other classmates who were considered low average before are even more successful than me. I saw one friend and she already has her own car and a very nice home. According to her, she just got lucky. She said that I can do it too. She encouraged me to join her in her new prospect. She wants to buy gold coins. Well, sounds pretty good. I always believe in gold anyways. I told her to make a formal offer so that can show it to my husband. I just hope though that she is transacting with the United States Gold Bureau.

Come to think of it, by August 1, I will be on my 9th year in office already. Nine long years! Nine long years yet I am still here where I was before. Not really because I transferred to another group but still, I am just a rank and file employee.

Why am I staying here? The company I am working for is one of the most successful companies here in our country. The benefits are good especially the medical benefits which is sort of unlimited as they put it. The pay? Well, not that big that you can already buy gold bullion but just right for a decent living. Also, it is very hard to find another job or maybe, I do not like to really get out of my comfort zone.

Speaking of gold, my husband’s cousin who lives abroad would like to invest in this metal. I advised her to do some research first. You know, where to get real gold. I also told her that silver is also popular if not more popular than any other metal nowadays. Well, I hope that her business will prosper. When that happens, everybody happy.

Busy boss

My boss is very much into the birthday celebration of her daughter. She has been preparing for it for the longest time. It is a big party whenever a kid reached his or her seventh year on earth. It is like a debut also. She said that she is not yet finished with the giveaways. it is an in thing also to let the guests take home some loot bags. Not only the kids will be given some but the big ones too! For the games, she is thinking of the usual promotional items like pens or caps maybe. I am sure that it will be a blast. Too bad, we could not attend. We have work. Anyways, there will always be a next time.
