It will be the Christening of the niece of one of my closest friends! Oh, if you would see the invitation, you would definitely fall in love with it. Actually, they purchased blank invitation card stock invitations and they added personal touch into it. Their baby is so cute and you would not like to let go of her the moment that you hold her. I love that kid! I want now to have my own baby! Young kids aged one to three are really adorable, aren’t they? Yes, I am excited about having preparations also like parties and invitation cards!

Right now, I have a baby boy who just turned eight! I am actually planning to have a grand party for him when he turns nine. I am starting the preparation right now and of course, one of the elements that I need to look into is an attractive invitation! Creating my own with the use of blank card invitations might just be the answer! I can personalize it with colors as I can choose from a variety of shades available! Oh, I am really excited this early, huh! Well, my son deserves it being our only one! I am sure that he could help with the invitations too like he could draw in the blank cards or something. It will even be a bonding time for us creating and making those cards! Lovely!

It is not a lecture topic or an essay about the above sentence. That is just my thought as I feel lazy going to my son’s school. Well, you know, today is a Saturday and usually, I sleep all day or go to the mall during weekends! Anyways, I cannot do nothing but to get up and maybe attend after all. My husband is very insistent. Haaayyyyy…..

This will be our gift for our son’s seventh birthday. Yes, no big party. His Dad was able to explain to him the value of money. Weee!!! They were the ones who talked about it. There will be just a small party here in our house for our relatives. You know just for picture taking and have a memory of his seventh birthday. The real celebration will just be a family affair. We are going to a theme park as requested by our dearest child!

My husband and my child are studying for my kid’s class today. I wonder how difficult the subjects will be in the future. Maybe they will be tackling Louisiana Jones Act in the future. Oh, if his grandfather, my Dad is still alive, I am sure that he would gladly help. My Dad was a lawyer. On my husband’s side, my late mother in law would also wanted to be an attorney thus I believe that she would also be interested in that subject. But, since they already passed away, my husband and I have to be the ones to do all the digging. Doing a child’s assignment is like studying again.

It was almost ten PM. People were just about to go home like this mother in front of me. She was talking to I suppose her child. She was saying, ” Do not sleep yet baby. wait for Mommy, okay. I have a ckae for you. Do you want cake? It is your favorite. Okay, give the phone to your Dad now. ”
She was carrying a cake box on her lap. It was payday and maybe she promised her child a cake.

I also give my husband a call when I am about to go home already. Just so he knows that in an hour, I will be at the doorstep. More so, I hope that dinner will be ready by then. Hahahaha!

I salute working Moms like me. It is hard to balance our roles as a mom and wife when we have to go out of the house to help our husbands put food at the table.

Nah… he likes to play outside. He has been obsessing about kites lately and this day is not an exception. Finally, his Aunt made him one! He gathered all the old newspapers and folders and off he ran to his Aunt’s house. Finally he came back home with his brand new kite! I told him, okay I will buy you a more beautiful one. You know what he said? I want this kite. You are too late! That struck me! What can I do? He is right!

He always wants to buy one every time we visit the mall. Well, as a loving parent, I would like to see him smile and not cry around or even throw any tantrums if we could not give in to his request. I am just glad that as he grows older, we could talk to him already. He now understands that there are days that he will just have to look at it and maybe do the buying some other time like on his next birthday maybe or if Mom and Dad will have extra cash.

I am into cooking this day. That is why I am glad that I am always at the 12 to 9 shift. Anyways, my son’s favorite is red rice. It is actually red sauce. His favorite is Del Monte Afritada sauce. do we just heat it? Nah! Of course, we have to cook afritada. Simple, I just have to boil some chicken with a dash of salt. When the chicken is cooked already, that is the time that I will pour the instant Afritada sauce. Yesterday, I did it with carrots and green beans. He loved it. Today, I added broccoli and cabbage. Guess what? He could tell that the taste was different! Maybe it is because of the cabbage? Anyways, he still ate his red rice. There was some veggie trick. That gave me the idea of more tricks to come!
