My co-worker who is a very techy one has flash cards. I thought that those were onestopplus coupons as he was telling his friend one time that he just downloaded those from the internet and he could use those to get big discounts. Wow! I want that! Coupons are really helpful to Mom’s like me. I love to get discounts and freebies!

I just read the announcement regarding our group’s Christmas Party. There is a theme! Get Sporty! we can be a tennis player, volleyball player, basketball player, a football player, and others. I got quite excited and at the same time pressured as I think I do not have any sports attire except for my jogging pants! Maybe, I can get NFL Uniforms! Yes, football it is! Actually, I can look for mt basketball jersey which I had ten years ago! Now you know that it will not fit me anymore. Ten years did a lot to me and that is not just 4 pounds a year! I gained more than 40 pounds! NFL uniforms will be great because it comes with my favorite colors. I will choose red because it is Christmas! Now, I am thrilled to have the look of a football player! Having a real one beside me will even rock the party, I am sure! Oh, will that popular football player who happened to be a model of our products oblige to grace the occasion? I certainly, hope so! I must ask the organizers! There is nothing wrong with that, right? Kidding aside, I will just ask two or more in the group to also buy NFL Uniforms so that we can be one team!

Women love accessories. I can tell! Well, I do love beads too! I have some pieces but that will be no compare to my friend’s collection! Whoa! Too many! One collection that she is into right now, bracelets made of czech glass beads. Pretty! Yes, as pretty as her! Well, she gets gifts from her suppliers too. She deserves all the gifts because she buys a lot! Yes, she has a room full of bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and other accessories. Oh, this friend of mine is a woman in the real sense of the word if shopping is synonymous to woman!

One of the things that my friend and I enjoy doing is shopping! Well, I know that it is not new because every woman does, right? Anyways, our office is just beside a small shopping center. Last Friday, my friend and I made sure that we will buy something to start up our weekend. Hahaha! Well, to relieve sme stress maybe. My friend bought a nice blouse, bracelets, undies and a rocawear jacket for her husband. See, we do not shop just for ourselves, right? We also shop for our loved ones!

What about me? I also bought two pieces of my favorite underwear brand.

Shoe hunt

I need new shoes! I have been searching for two weeks now but to no avail! My friends even accompanied me and after two hours of fitting and shoe hunt, NONE! Oh well, maybe I just really do not like to buy a new pair. However, I know that I should be presentable in the office. I am in meetings everyday and I have to create a pleasant personality. Yeah, wearing corporate shoes will help me do that.

Thinking of a phone purchase

It will still be by March 10 that I can file another personal loan. I am planning to purchase a new mobile phone. I am still waiting for my service SIM though. I have an ample time to decide which phone model I should get. I heard that there is a new mobile phone that will be released by a telecommunications company and the price will be affordable. The loan that I am planning to get might just be enough for that or might even have an excess. I hope so.

I miss the barcode scanners. Let us say that I love hearing the sound of that scanner after reading my purchase. Crazy, huh! I am not really admitting but I am also a shopaholic inside. Thanks to the nearby grocery store and I could still hear that sound even though I am just buying a very cheap ice drop or candy! Hahahaha! Kidding aside, I miss shopping. I want to buy new things for myself and for my son and husband. Gone are the days that we do not think of what we are spending. Today, everything must be listed down and we have to think a million times before making any purchase. Ask, is it a need or just a want?

Seven days in a year

I bought around six pieces of urban clothes at very affordbale prices. Would you believe that for only 520 pesos, I was able to buy all of them? Yes, those pretty blouses were on sale last week. Thank you to my friend who invited me to do the shopping with her. Well, it was last Holy Wednesday and somehow I felt guilty. Yeah, instead of going to the church, I went to the mall. Where is the sacrifice there? There are many sale days to come, anyways. But, Holy Week, only once a year, or should I say seven days in a year!

Gadgets and shoes

During the Typhoon Ondoy, my husband’s gadgets were all damaged. He is buying one by one items once again. When his gadgets are complete again, he needs a new KVM switch too. Oh, men. If women loves shoes and clothes, men loves gadgets! Which is more expensive? It really depends. Recently, hubs purchased a music gadget worth 9K. I was just able to buy a pair of shoes for only 300 bucks. Hmmm…

My husband is very particular with buying things. He always wants everything to be a Best Buy. Funny but it took him almost a year to buy the rubber shoes that he was eyeing for all this time. Finally, I gave him that as a gift to him this Christmas. He has not actually wore those precious pairs yet. I thought he was going to finally use it when we went out this morning to hear mass. Sort of a blessing, eh! However, he still did not. Oh well, guys could sometimes be unpredictable also. Who says that only girls are?
