I must tell my friend about these cheap hosting sites. Well, thank you to free blogger platforms where we can have an online diary or share something or even promote or use it for a business but then again, having your own domain and your own site in the real sense of the word is still better, if not the best. Having your own domain is the first step. Next is to have it hosted by a certified web host. It is not for free this time. To get better service or to have full control of your site, then you must pay an amount too in a way which is sensible for me.

So, what site to choose? How much investment should you make? As I have mentioned, there are good web hosts that are affordable. Moreover, the amount that you will be paying for a web host is just small compare to the number of benefits and opportunities of having your own domain name and web host will give.

Better select ones that have good reviews or maybe try one offer at a time so that you can compare and finally find the web host that you think will meet your needs.

This site is hosted and so far, I am very happy with my web host.

I understand now why there are so many credit card scams after reading about rfid credit cards. Yes, it could be because of that manual transaction when your credit card numbers were manually entered and there was some manual tracing done. It could also be because the cashier was a thief and stole all your information in a glance. She might have an eidetic or a photographic memory! Kidding aside, did you know that our credit cards send some form of signals? That is because of the RFID chip in it. Well maybe the technology or logic is somewhat kind of google wallet. Anyways, because of that, there is something called as robbery in a vacuum! Yes, those signals can be captured by a device to steal your information. Oh, I never thought that technology can be so scary! But, no worries! Well, in anything and everything, there is a solution. There is a RFID blocker. So, there, you can be at peace now.

I am quite obsessed with time management right now. Well, maybe because there are lots of things to do but so little time or time is not really enough. I read in a book that for you to be able to save time and still manage to do the more things, you might need some extra hands. Yes, delegation is the key. However, it is not only warm bodies that can help you but also modern technology. Take for example a document imaging system to store files. I just attended a seminar and our company has just found out to use this instead of having gigantic rooms as storage for those archives! I really hope to have one for personal use too.

Why did my friend asked me? He knows too well that I am sort of techy and I am working in a telecommunications company offering GPS services and stuff. But you know what? I really do not have the slightest idea this time! Thanks to him for introducing me to another innovation that I think is useful and awesome!

A beautiful Saturday morning here! Finally, I was able to get this laptop from my boys! They literally took charge yesterday and I just had to give way. Ever since our desktop computer got busted, the three of us have been sharing this very useful fellow! Hubby mentioned last night that our internet connection is getting slower and slower everyday. He run a test and got only 98 kbps last night. Imagine that! I told him that it might be the memory of the PC that is causing that and not really a network problem. Ha,ha! I work for the internet provider. Anyways, before my husband decides without asking me to delete files again that might be the cause of a war, I better look for a free online backup where I could just transfer my files. Better yet, I could also buy a separate hard drive for all of my computer clutter. Hmm… I think the first idea is more practical.

I could still remember that time when I opened my PC and found out that all my files were missing! I really got mad. I asked my husband what happened. He said that he had to reboot the PC. I asked him if he did a back up and he said that he was not able to do so. He thought that I already saved my important documents at the D drive. We argued the whole day because I had to remember everything and write or upload all those important things again. Talking about mind back up, huh! What about those things that I already forgot? I was really disappointed and frustrated. I told him, I was not a Carbonite. He laughed at me and asked me what I was talking about. He even corrected me and said that maybe I was pertaining to Kryptonite and not Carbonite. That is my husband. He always find humor in any situation.

Seriously, I really hoped that I had a Carbonite, the ultimate back up. Why? It is an online back up! Imagine, you do not have to save it in any of your hardware drives. Moreover, you could be sure that if your PC would shut down and unexpectedly be reformatted without your knowledge, all your files are still intact! I think that everybody who is in the online business should have a carbonite.

Do you know why there are some sites that are easy to download while others would take years so to speak? The secret is in dedicated hosting. Yes, your site depends on the specifications of your host server. Have you checked it lately? Do you get your money’s worth? Better study your options now and get one that would give you all the benefits at a price that you can afford, of course. However, investing on a very good one if not on the best server will erase all the tags that come with it because you would be able to earn it back in no time. Get one with a big storage too so that you could feature or present more products and services. Look at the successful sites. I am sure that those are hosted in a dedicated server.

Being a blogger, if you intend to monetize your blog, getting a web host is necessary if you would like to earn more so to speak. There are some advertising companies that would not accept free hosted blogs. You could actually get a web host for as low as $3.95/month. It would be a good investment. You might want to check Canadianwebhosting.com for more information.
