Last August 21 was a Holiday here in our country. Luckily, I was scheduled to come to the office, meaning double pay! I was on mid shift. It was a good day. It was the first time that I saw jolly drivers. Yes, no hot heads that day! It was all pleasant. The days after that were all the same. Hot heads were there again. Even passengers were not in the mood. Not all though. The usual scenes in a commuter’s life. Change disputes, loud sounds that passengers and the driver has to communicate with each other in shouting mode… Funny, others can still afford to sleep in spite of that. I am one of those sleepers. Hahahaha! Now that gives me an idea. I have to think of names for each type of passengers. After all, it is A Commuter’s Life.

One of the things that I think of all the time wherever and whenever is the future. I am not actually afraid of it as I know that I am a hardworking person. Sometimes though, being hardworking is not enough. That is most especially true when you are just an employee, meaning you have a boss or someone else calls the shots. If they fall, you fall. Yes, having your own business or something that you can depend on in the future is a must. That is why, it is best that you start saving now. We only have a little amount in our bank account and not even enough to buy anything big and much more to buy gold bars. Yes, I want to go that big. Investing in gold has been inside my mind for so long now. I just hope that I will really be able to be in that place on day.

I am proud of my son. He could construct sentences now and create his own story. This one is inspired by the game: Plants VS Zombies:

One day, Dexter called AJ. Dexter was bitten by the centipede. He became a Zombie. He went to the houses and ate brains then everyone turned into zombies. Someone called the police to stop the Zombies but the zombies ate their brains too. Then the whole town has been transformed into a graveyard. The end.

Here is his actual version or write up. The one above is polished already by me.

One day Dexter call AJ then Dexter has bite by a sentipig then his an zombie then go to houses and eat brains then everyone has turn into zombies then someone call police to stop the zombies then the zombies eat their brainz then the town has transformed into Grave yard. The end.

Nice story is it not? Besides his love for drawing, son is learning and hopefully will love to write too, just like his mom!

It was a happy day yesterday. We went out to the malls! I and my husband only. As usual, we did things that we love to do. That is eating, eating and eating! We love to eat! Anyways, going out tends to be expensive especially if you do not think of your budget. We were able to spend a half month’s budget! So, the coming days will mean diet for us! Kidding aside, my husband told me that I should repay what we just have spent. Funny, huh! It is not that we are planning to buy a bullion that we have to save every month but that is a good idea! Okay, I must pay for it then? It is okay to splurge once in a while and enjoy the fruit of your labor, I know. Nevertheless, it is better to be wiser and think of the future. Our kid is only six years old and we just pray hard that we are always healthy until he finishes College and be able to live in this world even without us. That sounds scary to me that is why we are trying to do everything to secure his future. Yes, buying precious metals at United States Gold Bureau is in the list for us to be able to do that.

I think we should buy or son a pair of rain boots. It has been raining heavily these days and I do not want his feet be soaked in water. Sometimes, when he came from school, his socks are all wet and I wonder about the discomfort that he could have felt all the time until the socks were removed. Maybe that could also be the reason why he always have colds.

The rain did not stop from pouring until 2AM, I guess. I was awakened by my son’s coughing at around 130AM and I gave him his medicine and it was still raining. Very bed weather and all of us really had a good sleep.

I hope that it will not rain today as it did yesterday or if it does, then at least, no heavy traffic please. The roads yesterday became sort of a big parking space for all kinds of vehicles stuck there. I had to walk from our office to the MRT station and that was around a fifteen minute walk because it was raining and we had to use the slippery overpass also. I was really wet with the rain splash and my sweat. To think that I was even on stilettos, that was really tiring. The positive side of it was maybe I was able to burn some calories, huh!

I was able to get home before ten PM. I sent a text message to my friend telling her my ordeal to get a ride. Well, I was luckier than her because during that time, they were still stuck in traffic. They were already hungry. Their house is just near the office but their car could not pass through. Some of the streets they passed were flooded too.
