Imagine that! It is another Sunday! It is February 5 already! Well, no weekend activities for us since all of us are down with cough and colds. I was excited last Friday that the walk/jog bonding two weeks ago will be repeated, but NO! I really do not know if I will pursue it today as I can see that my son is still very much sleepy. I guess we must all go back to bed!

Mom and child talk: Computer Paint Art Genius

My son was very happy to tell me the great news that he was chosen to be their class’ representative at the Computer Paint Art contest. According to him, he was sort of a wild card. At first, three of his classmates were chosen to compete with each other. That was last Wednesday. Today, his teacher noticed his drawing thus the class was told that he will be included in the elimination round today. Four of them were asked to draw a house and a car. My son finished first and according to him, his drawing was good. My son is happy with his accomplishment. He said, Mom, I am chosen because I am good!

Well done, my Son!

Garden party

I am excited for Saturday! My friend is hosting a garden party! According to her, she will flaunt the GrillsDirect.com weber grill. Wow! I am full of envy! Well, first I wanted a garden and second, I wanted a grill bar too, of sort. For my place right now, that would not really be possible. Maybe when we have constructed the third floor or the roof top as my son is requesting. Well, he wants a garden too with plants and his favorite animals.

Energy recharged

Commuting has never been this easy. Yes, my husband is a great help. The motorcycle ride makes the travel time shorter. True enough for January 2012, no lates! Yey! That is a good start for the month, right? Today, February 1, not late again. That is going to the office.

How about going back home? Well, I planned to use the 2 MRT cards before its expiration but having one ride going home, I still prefer as I can sleep for at least 30 minutes. That is a good recharge of energy.

Four days of rest and fun and work and sickness

So, last day of vacation for me and tomorrow, back to work again! How’s my resting so far? Not really good! Well, Saturday, we went to the mall. My husband was looking for a Rock Band 3 tape for Wii. We did not find one. We did some shopping though. We were able to go home at around 10PM already.

Sunday, I was able to have some rest. I slept for around two to three hours in the afternoon, I guess. But, the disturbing cough never really left me.

Monday, Chinese New Year! I was able to rest a little. In the afternoon, I and husband went out again. We went to a nearby mall–Montalban Town Center. Good thing we were able to find some good and affordable floor tiles for the kitchen. We will go back there by second week of February.

Today is Tuesday, I am on VL. I do not really expect myself to have some rest as son will go back to school. Hubby is not around as he will renew his driver license.

Anyways, I have to keep going, I guess. Cough is still here. Colds is here too.

Wish ring

Yes! Hubby asked me what I want this Valentine’s Day! I told him that emerald rings would be perfect! Actually, I am looking for a statement ring. You know, something that is bold and fashionable! I could not find any in the market since I really do not go for fashion jewelries that much. I wear real ones most of the time. Now that somebody is willing to give me a piece, why not tell him my big wish?

Strawberries, cherries and chocolates

Mouth watering, is it not? Surely,everyone in the family would love to take a bite! Where did I find it? Well, I was running out of birthday gift ideas for dad so I decided to consult the world! Who could go wrong with fruits and chocolates, huh? My husband loves strawberries and cherries! I hope that he would share some with us, though. Well, it would be his birthday, yes, we would just abide by his rules. Oh, give us some, please!

I finally decided to file a vacation leave on the 24th. I think I really need to rest. I am not actually sick but I just need some rest. Actually, I was scheduled to have leaves until the 25th but since there are many meetings on that day plus our department will hol a cascade of the company’s direction for 2012, I coul not be absent. Anyways, it will be a Holiday on the 23rd thus, I already have enough days to sleep.

Inspiring story of success

I have just watched a film in which the main character of the story makes chairs and tables. He started from scratch then became successful. Before, all his work was at his home. The setting was at his house with all the equipments and wood scattered at his living room, front yard and backyard. His specialty is rustic furniture. That was a pretty inspiring story. I hope to have my own business someday too.
