I am still heart broken over the news that our PC crashed and my husband totally refreshed it or somewhat turned it into something new again. Well, yes, we had supposedly backed up our files at the other drives which we have, even more than D like we have an E and F extra storage. What happened? Well, according to my husband, viruses are very clever now that they can already penetrate those extra drives other than C. Is that true? Well, no point in arguing with him about it since I know what I know. He had just threw away some precious memories for more than a decade. The pitfall of not having an extra hard disk which is detached from the main computer, huh! Hard drive, I mean.
So, what happens next? Do I need to buy many hard drives then? How about carbonite? Oh, I know, I have to go techy. Well, yes, I am considering online back ups now. Well, carbonite might be good but the question is if I can afford it. Based on some reviews, it is one of the best back ups but its downside is the price as there are at par ones in terms of performance and service at a lower price.
It is my friend’s birthday today! Oh, I have not gotten her any gift yet but I am thinking of personalized coins. Well, I remembered that she used to collect coins when we were still in College. Now, we have our own families, we tend to give up some little things that make us happy. I am thinking of giving her coins that will still be related to family. Maybe designs for each of her family member including the one that is still inside her womb!
One of my favorite sports even though I do not play it is football. Well, I like all the running and that challenge of getting a score. You know, getting that goal is really hard. Imagine that for hours of running and kicking, there are instances that score is below five or even zero at times! That could be frustrating for the players but is very thrilling for the watchers, right? Well, that is how I always feel when I watch football.
I am glad that football has been reinvented here in our country. Well, we already have good players that I think if given the chance can also compete worldwide. When that time comes, almost everyone would surely include football display cases on their gift list and/or even for their own use. Well, this early, I know people who are already fanatics of football game and have started their collection.
As of me, I am fortunate to have watched several football games. Thank you to the company that I am working for as it is one of the major sponsors of football games here in our country. Oh, I love those football players. They look more handsome when they sweat and fight for that one ball. Come to think of it, a football is really something valuable as many men wished to keep hold of it for the whole duration of the game! 
Now, I know what to do when I have the chance to watch the game again. I would really ask for that precious ball! Well, nothing to lose but more to gain, right?
Earlier than usual today. Done with dinner- yikes with the expected weight increase. Anyways, I actually feel tired already as I woke up very early for me not to be late in the office today. I have been late from Monday to Wednesday. Today, I had a meeting at 10AM thus, I really needed to wake up early.
So, here am I writing this post. I cannot go to bed yet as I still feel full. I ate larger today ever since the diet period. Well, as far as carbohydrates is concerned. Maybe because I did not eat any fruit during the day plus as usual the work stress…
I am encouraging my friend who has a hefty savings to invest in Golden Eagle gold bars. Well, I will really do invest in gold or it is one of my choices for a venture. Gold is synonymous to progress. Everybody loves gold thus you can always be sure of a good return of investment if ever.
Meantime, I shall keep on saving maybe. Oh, I really regret all those chances that I could have acquire or bought at least one gold bar before. Anyways, there is still now and tomorrow. I can still do that and I will.
Home sweet home! The day went good so far. I was not late for office. I was able to walk a few blocks going home. I am here safe.
Do you pray whenever you find it hard to find a cab or catch a bus? I do! Well, today, I was thinking too much of my deliverables in the office that I missed my stop. I let it go since there are still options. Next ideal stop for me is Batasan. There are even tiangges there and I was looking for manicure/pedicure items. So, I was able to buy it. Then the time for me to catch a ride home, an air-con bus which was seldom passed by and so there I went. Thank You, Lord.
Brr…it is real cold here in our country these days. My husband is telling me, how much more in other countries? He lived before in a country that has snow during winter months and according to him, it was real cold. Thanks to snowboard jackets of real good quality that they can play outside! Oh, I can imagine!
Going back to the bizarre cold weather here in our country, my Mom got fever due to the climate change. According to her, she always feel cold. I think I need to buy her a thicker jacket or maybe even a snow jacket to keep her warm.
My brother, our nephew and the rest of the neighborhood’s youth is into exercise nowadays! Well, I think that it is a good hobby. The youth of our community is really into good activities and they really want to be models for the rest of the young people in our area.
It is a good thing for my brother because he is new here. Well, my brother used to live in the province. Thank you to the nephew of my husband who was a previous president of the youth organization and who has many friends. He invited my brother to join them. Now, my brother is slowly adjusting and is gaining more friends. We just do not see him inside the house that often though. We allow that. Let him enjoy until it is school time.
Another benefit for my brother is that he is now somehow having a good built. I learned that they are into strength building. Well, it is not only that my brother is already stronger but he also muscular now. Oh, if you have seen him before, he was so skinny. His posture was not good also because his spine is always in a slouch position. Now, if you see him, full of confidence. Chest out, stomach in, he is already!
My co-worker who is a very techy one has flash cards. I thought that those were onestopplus coupons as he was telling his friend one time that he just downloaded those from the internet and he could use those to get big discounts. Wow! I want that! Coupons are really helpful to Mom’s like me. I love to get discounts and freebies!
Monday, February 6–no motorcycle service! Well, my son is still sick with cough and colds thus I do not want him to be left alone even for a few minutes. We do not have companions inside the house right now–that would by my Mom and Brother who are at my sister’s place.
So, how did my commute went? I rode the tricycle going to the jeepney station. I preferred to save from far rather than seat comfortably in a special trip. After that I saw a bus going to Ayala via Cubao route. It was still early at 7AM. The road at San Mateo has always been not wide. There are some schools also along the way and so many intersections. I arrived at the shuttle station at around 8AM. Good thing that there was no people lined up for the Ayala route. There was an available van waiting for me! Yey! Timed in at 909AM!
Imagine that! It is another Sunday! It is February 5 already! Well, no weekend activities for us since all of us are down with cough and colds. I was excited last Friday that the walk/jog bonding two weeks ago will be repeated, but NO! I really do not know if I will pursue it today as I can see that my son is still very much sleepy. I guess we must all go back to bed!
My son was very happy to tell me the great news that he was chosen to be their class’ representative at the Computer Paint Art contest. According to him, he was sort of a wild card. At first, three of his classmates were chosen to compete with each other. That was last Wednesday. Today, his teacher noticed his drawing thus the class was told that he will be included in the elimination round today. Four of them were asked to draw a house and a car. My son finished first and according to him, his drawing was good. My son is happy with his accomplishment. He said, Mom, I am chosen because I am good!
Well done, my Son!
